Airlift Ideas, Inc. launches in Chicago; helps companies build a legacy of success by igniting "brand joy"

Shelley Rosen, noted brand story teller, launches firm to help companies build brand performance and profitability

Chicago (April 2006) - Shelley Rosen, a 20-year advertising and marketing veteran who has developed major branding efforts at Leo Burnett and McDonald's Corporation, has launched Airlift Ideas, Inc., a firm which helps companies "ignite brand joy" and build a legacy of success.

"Brand joy keeps your company green and growing," says Rosen. "It's contagious. It's a big idea that works." At the core of Airlift Ideas' business is brand story telling. The Chicago- based firm sets brand direction, ignites passion in their employees and creates high levels of consumer interest.

According to Rosen, the right story, told in an inspiring way, ignites brand joy. "Corporate leaders need a compelling story," she says. "We call it brand storytelling. We are here to craft the right strategic tale. When a story touches people in a compelling way, it travels like wildfire throughout an organization. It becomes the epicenter of your company's activity and corporate reputation. Powerful stories bond your company to your people and ultimately your customers. Your customers will not just buy your brand; they will join your brand." Airlift Ideas helps companies create deeper customer connections-and do so profitably.

We hired Shelley Rosen [Airlift] to develop and execute creative marketing strategies for the launch of our new prototype restaurant, Arby's Market Fresh™, a brand extension of Arby's," said Jordan Krolick, Chief Development Officer, Arby's Restaurant Group, inc. "She helped us craft this story and then made it come to life. Shelley executes flawlessly and customer feedback on Arby's Market Fresh is exceeding our expectations."

Corporate leaders need to take a fresh look at their brand story while they keep their true essence intact. "At Airlift, we develop brand strategies that capture the authentic essence while making it relevant for today's consumer," said Rosen. "Making the emotional connection is the best way to drive brand performance."

Rosen is a 20-year advertising and marketing veteran who has worked at Leo Burnett and McDonald's Corporation. As an executive at McDonald's Corporation, she directed major efforts in the areas of business innovation, brand leadership and issues management. She most recently led the global strategy for McDonald's on the Balanced Lifestyles issue.
